He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Beatty and Eva Beatty; his sons, Robert and Donald Beatty; and his siblings, Sheila Stewart, Shirley Stewart and Terrance Beatty.

He is survived by: his wife Donna; his daughters, Shaunacy Beatty (Cody) and Glenda Beatty (Kyle); his siblings, Judy Marshall (Gary) and Michael Beatty (Marilyn); his sister-in-law Louise Gavel (Emery); and his grandchildren, Haley and Noah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
