He was predeceased by: his father Thomas; and his siblings, Clifford, Morris, Daniel, Marion Warnholtz and Betty Skinner.

He is survived by: his wife Mary (MacRitchie); his children, Sandi (Gary) and Tommy (Joanne); his grandsons, Colin and Eric; his brother Willie; his siblings-in-law, Betty Roberts, Lloyd MacRitchie and Margaret Logue; and his close friend Gordon MacRae. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
