She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Munro; her parents, Cameron Matheson and Winnie Matheson; her brother Jim Matheson; her brother-in-law Graham Munro; and her parents-in-law, Gladys and George Munro.
She is survived by: her sons, James (Andrew) of Halifax and Blair of Whycocomagh; her brother Don Matheson; and her siblings-in-law, Gordie (Isabel), Jerry (Elsie) and Nelly (Alex). She is also survived by her sons as the best "Mom".
