She was predeceased by : her parents, Alden Andrew and Marie Francis Smith (Gillis); her siblings, John Andrew and Gail Francis; her nephew Todd Malcom; her parents-in-law, Rannie and Sally MacDougall; her brothers-in-law, Ronnie MacDougall and Lyman Malcolm; and also Fraser MacLeod.

She is survived by : her husband Victor George MacDougall; her children, Roxanne and Andrew; her grandson Tyler John MacLeod (Carly); her nieces and nephews, Nick (Jessica), Johnny (Emilie), Ryan (Danielle) and Cassie (Brent); her sister Linda Susan Lewis (Eddie) of Saint John, N. B.; her nieces, Melissa and Sarah; her sister Judith Anne Malcolm (Gil); her nieces and nephews, Shawn, Robbie, Kelly and Matt; her sister Gloria Dawn Smith (Paul); her niece Nicole; her nephew Brad; her brother Alden Roger Smith; her sister-in-law Anne Marsh (Basil); her niece Wendy; her nephews, Darrell and John Paul; her brother-in-law Rudy MacDougall (Doreen); her niece Cheryl; and her nephew Sonny.
