She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth; her son David; and her sisters, Marilyn MacLeod (Mimi) and Ella Connell (Ily). She is survived by: her son John (Ingrid van Leeuwen); her granddaughter Margaret of Toronto, Ontario; her daughter-in-law Catherine MacRitchie (Hill); her granddaughter Arianne Morrow (Matthew); her great grandchildren, Navy and Cove; her sister Frances (Fran) of Port Hawkesbury; Kristen MacRitchie of Pictou. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Homes Chapel (W) (12 Main St, Whycocomagh, NS B0E3M0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (151 Main St, Orangedale, NS B0E3M0). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Stewartdale Cemetery.
