He was predeceased by : his parent Allan MacKinnon; his brothers, Angus Neil and Donald; his parents-in-law, William MacIntosh and Cassie MacIntosh; and his siblings-in-law, Leroy MacPhail, Roy MacKenzie, Gussie MacIntosh and Marguerite MacKenzie.

He is survived by : his parent Flora MacKinnon (Matheson); his grandchildren, Erin Stoll (Mike), Drew Ferguson, Cassie Ferguson, Kyle Garland and Sarah Garland; his sister Agnes MacPhail of East Walpole, MA; his sister-in-law Mae Poole (Nelson) of Whycocomagh; and his cousin Don MacKinnon (Carol) of New Market, ON. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Victoria County Palliative Care, Stewart United Church or the charity of your choice.
