He was predeceased by: his parents, Justus Baker and Emily Baker; his nephew Braden Baker; his parents-in-law, Gerald and Marilyn Sarty; and his sister-in-law Margaret Savard.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Sarty); his pet Sister Sharon Nowe of Cookville; his brother Michael Baker (Cindy) of Lower Branch; and his sisters-in-law, Jackie Lake Center (Cecil), Belinda Fancey (Dean) and Margo (Bob). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Conquerall Mills Hall (27 Crousetown Rd, Conquerall Mills, NS B4V6E6).
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Hospice wing of Fishermen's Memorial Hospital.
