He is survived by: his children, Matthew of Halifax and Christina of Bridgewater; his granddaughter Emma; his son Michael (Veronica Garber) of Blockhouse; his grandchildren, Ashley and Laura; his brother Robert (Margaret) of Kanata, ON; his former wife Janet Oickle; and his pet Charlie.
