He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Selig and Gladys Selig; his wife Annikki Selig; and his siblings, Ruth, Edie, Harriett, Wayne, Jimmy and Johnny.

He is survived by : his children, Rick Selig (Wanda), Debbie Zinck (Perry) and Margaret Dicks (Terry); his grandchildren, Angie, Jenna, Christopher (Julia), Justin (Laura), Shawn (Shelby), Brandon and Bryce; his great grandchildren, Mika, Raimee, Luca, Thea, Chloe, Kate, Emma, Payton and Scarlett; and his siblings, Louis Selig (Sandra), Arnold Selig (Joyce), Audrey Joudrey (John), Jeannette Dorey (Darrell), Debbie Beck (John), Charlotte Selig and Janice Ernst (Cedric). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hillside Pines, Home for. Special Care, Bridgewater or the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
