Merlin Strong Obituary

The passing of Merlin Strong (Wileville, Nova Scotia), born in Clarenville, Newfoundland leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 26, 2025 at the age of 84. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Strong and Dorothy Strong. He is survived by: his wife Violet; his children, Todd Strong (Tammy) and Leeann Pendergast Adrienne (Mike); his grandchildren, Glen Pendergast (Jenna), Kyle Strong, Gregory Pendergast (Brittany), Brandon Strong (Julia), Jessicah Edwards and Aaron Edwards; his great grandchildren, Willow, Viktor, Everett, Odin and Violet; and his siblings, Linda Macewen, Cindy Strong (Ray), Nicholas Strong (Carol-ann) and Leslie Strong.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Middlewood United Church.
