Roy Leonard Thomas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Leonard Thomas of Williamswood, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 26, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thomas and Eileen Thomas (Slaunwhite); and his brothers, Robert and Ronald. He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Marryatt); his daughter Amy MacDonald (Mike); his grandchildren, Lily and Jackson; his son Derek; his grandchildren, Eric and Victoria; his siblings, Blanche (Jim Brooks), Marion Dietrich, Kitchener, Whena Talbot and Paul (Kitchener); his brothers-in-law, Chris Marryatt and Norm Marryatt; his grandchild Jax; and his caregivers, Arlene, Lynne, James, Dr. Robbins, Dr. Valerie Ross, Dr. Lilian Nwogu and Thea. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Saint James United Church (3811 Old Sambro Rd, Sambro, NS B3V1R6).
No flowers by request, and donations may be made to the Saint James United Church or the Kidney Transplant Department of the QEII Foundation.
