Alice Marie Pemberton Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Marie Pemberton of Windsor, Nova Scotia, born in Canso, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 15, 2024 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alice Marie Pemberton to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Malcolm Thomas and Mary Edna Dort (Flaherty); her husband Gordon Pemberton; her great grandchild Carter; her siblings, Edward Malcolm "Teddy" (Donna), Joseph Dort (Karen) and Mary Dort; her stepsister Peggy Clarke; her brothers-in-law, Lloyd Barnes, David (Lois), Doug and Wayne Pemberton; and her stepmother Katherine "Kay".

She is survived by : her children, Allan (Catherine) of Currys Corner, Gail Benedict (Mark) of Falmouth and Cathy (Lawrence Sherman) of Falmouth; her grandchildren, Mark, Samantha, Joseph, Hannah and Ethan; her great grandchildren, Dauphne, Taylor, Bentley, Alexis, Hadley and Skyler; her siblings, Mike Sr. Dort (Mary), John (Lorraine) and Margaret Barnes; her siblings-in-law, Ross (Linda), Charlie (Elaine), Jim Pemberton (Marlyn), Gail Pemberton, Juliette Pemberton and Marilyn McNutt (Doug); and her niece Elizabeth Dort. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Alice may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice.
