She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Shaw and Thelma Shaw (Phinney); her brothers, Paul, David, Gordon and Stephen Shaw; and her siblings-in-law, Weldon Swinamer, Ida and Vivian Shaw.
She is survived by: her husband LeRoy; her children, Sherri (Shayne) and Michael (Kristell); her stepgrandchildren, Edward and Andrea; her siblings, Florence Swinamer, Linda Keddy (Wayne) and John Shaw (Heather); and her sister-in-law Trudy Shaw. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service (419 Albert St, Windsor, NS B0N2T0). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the DeMont Family Funeral Home Chapel (419 Albert St, Windsor, NS B0N2T0).
