He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Siler and Kathleen "Kaye" Siler (Kitchin); his significant other Valerie Whitehead; his son Carl; his brothers-in-law, Bob Leyenaar and Dale Benedict; and his grandson Michael.

He is survived by: his children, Tara (Dan), Emilie (Mike), Stacey (Lawson), Pam (Medora), Kim (Bill) and Jordan Fisher; his grandchildren, Davey, Seth, Max, Louis, Kash, Brandon, Allanah, Chass, Ally and Tristan; and his siblings, Brenda, Carl (Debbie) and Sharon. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
