She is survived by: her son Randy Payzant (Mel); her granddaughter Nicole; her great grandchild Jaden; her granddaughter Sarah Payzant-Biggs (Dustin); her great grandchild Michael; her stepdaughter Keeley Hiltz (Wesley); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Dawson, Brooklyn and Owen; her stepgrandson Ethan Hiltz (Shelby); her daughter Darlene Payzant Rourke (Darryl); her grandchildren, Dallas Rourke, Makail (Maria), Liam (Clare), Colin (Bailey) and Rachel Lake; her great grandchildren, Mariah, Riley Maguire, Emilie and Alyssa Healey; her son-in-law Carl Lyons; her children, Shawna and Jessie; her great great grandchild Dylan Maguire; her siblings-in-law, Frances Parks, Mary Leopold, Doreen Payzant, Barb Miller, Betty Schofield and Alfred Payzant; her friends, Hazel Chambers (Jim) and Marie Allen; and her cousin Dorothy Hatchard.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service (419 Albert St, Windsor, NS B0N2T0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the DeMont Family Funeral Home Chapel (419 Albert St, Windsor, NS B0N2T0).
