He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert James and Beatrice Anita Newland (Scheidel); his wife Kathleen (Williams); his children, Heather Hubley and James; and his siblings, Edward, Shirley Hobler and Geraldine Walker.
He is survived by: his daughter Lorraine Barber of California, USA.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion (35 Empire Ln, Windsor, NS B0N2T0).
