She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry "Doug" Dearman and Mary Dearman (MacKenzie); her son Michael (Wanda Doull); and her siblings, William "Bub" Dearman, Lottie Maguire, Myrtle Mantle, Barbara Nicoll and Lois MacDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Wade and Peggy Sanford (Danny Purcell); her grandchildren, Mel, Ashley and Jon; her great grandchildren, Alex, Steve, Kiana, Desmond and Elizabeth; her great great grandchildren, Amelia and Calvin; her siblings, Robert "Ken" Dearman and Edna Parker; and her friend Marie Dill. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service (419 Albert St, Windsor, NS B0N2T0).
