She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Barkhouse and Elsie Barkhouse (Hiltz); and her siblings, Weldon "Butch" Barkhouse, Harold Barkhouse (Diane), Benny Barkhouse (Vivian), Jean Arnold (Bob) and June Spencer (Bill).

She is survived by: her husband Donald Everett Barkhouse; her daughter Kathy Suerink (Chris); her grandchildren, Candice and David; her son Donald Barkhouse (Marlene); her grandsons, Brent and Justin; her son Doug Barkhouse (Judy); her grandchildren, Brooke and Ivy; her daughter Karen Gouveia (Alfred); her granddaughters, Melissa and Kristina; her son Daryl Barkhouse (Wanda); her granddaughters, Charlene and Carrie; and her brothers, Gordie Barkhouse (Joyce) and Leroy Barkhouse (Sandy). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Willowbank Cemetery.
