She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Welsh and Nina Welsh (Mosher); her husband David Orr; her son Michael; and her brother Neil "Nick".

She is survived by : her children, Dana Orr (Shelley) and Lesa Orr; her brother-in-law John Orr (Eva); and her grandchildren, Ryan, Rachel, Luke, Chalace and Luna.

Donations in memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of NS, Diabetes Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
