He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Guptill and Jessie Guptill (Kelly); and his brothers, Albert, Vernon, Eldon, Stewart, Morris and Gordon.

He is survived by : his wife Marion Guptill (Beatty); his daughter Brenda Mingo (David); his sisters, Bernice Newcomb (Robert), Myrtle Cook (Murray) and Joan Belisle (Maurice) of Moose Jaw, SK; and his granddaughter Georgia Mingo. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Lockhartville Baptist Church.
