She was predeceased by : her parents, Scott Blenkhorn and Georgie Blenkhorn (Pelton); her husband Edward Francis Carey; her sons, James Edward "Ted" and Ken; her grandchild Caitlin; and her siblings, Barbara, Doris and Ivan.
She is survived by : her former life partner Frank Carey; her children, Norma Carey, Barbara Marks (John) of Scarborough, ON, Ivan Carey (Sherrie) and Don Carey (Joan); her grandchildren, Brent, Cynthia, Benjamin, Douglas, Stuart, Sandy, Deborah, Robert, Morgan, Graham, Alexander, Lorelei, Michael and Heather; her great grandchildren, Paige, Patrick, Isabella, Emilia, Sage, Pax, Zinnia, Miguel, Gloria, Alex, Evan, Quinn, Ben, Brayden and Rowan; and also, Alice Carey of Guelph, ON and Linda Kellar Carey.
