He was predeceased by : his parents, Clifford Weatherbee and Maude Weatherbee (Barkhouse); his stepmother Evelyn May "Dolly" Weatherbee (Shay); his sister Phyllis Crowell; and his brothers-in-law, Edward Crowell and Ross Gertridge.

He is survived by : his wife Phyllis (Irwin); his children, Clifford (Darlene), Blair (Linda), Brenda MacPherson (Sandy) of Bathurst, NB, Alan (Wanda), Granville Ferry and Darrell (Betty Anne); and his sister Gladys Gertridge. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
