She was predeceased by : her parents, George Parker and Edith Parker (Guptell); her brother Malcolm Edward Parker; her husband Vernon; her daughter Joan Peach; her grandson Joey Rushton; and her siblings, Clyde, Victor, Frederick, William, Avon, Norma, Eva, Hollis and Vera.
She is survived by : her children, David (Anne Fox), Sandra Schofield (Wayne), Paulette (Garth Hancock), Elaine (Andrea Lynn) and John (Lynn Buchanan); her grandchildren, Heather (Jake), Andrew (Sara), Nicky (Dan), Adam (Natasha), Amy, Nicholas, Carlena and Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Bradley, Xavier, Jenna, Zoe, Myla, Aiden, Lucas and Aven; and her sister-in-law Barbara Eye. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She died not from COVID-19, but from a year of isolation in long term care without family and friends. Family meant the world to her and until COVID-19, we were with her continuously.
In lieu of flowers and donations we ask that you think of Mum when you see the first blossoms and smell the apple blossoms, as she delighted in these signs of spring.
