It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Maxine Murphy (Wolfville, Nova Scotia), born in Port Williams, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 30, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Jesse England and Nina England; her children, Heather Monteith (Ron) of Upper Canard, Sheila Hughes (Peter) of Habitant, Sheri of Lower Sackville and Brian of Freetown, PEI; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Monteith, Melissa Monteith (Mike Watson), Ashley Hughes of Habitant, Clayton Murphy of Freetown, PEI and Jesse Murphy of Freetown, PEI; her close friend Patricia Stockall; her husband Clayton; her son Blaine; her granddaughter Emily Hughes; and her siblings, Kathleen, Barbara, Floyd, Eric and Bruce. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
