She was predeceased by : her parents, Alfred Grigg and Evelyn Grigg (Gingell). She is survived by : her daughters, Sue Thomas and Rosemary Drisdelle (Vic); her grandchildren, Beth McClelland (Kathy Gould), Kat McClelland (Andreas Christou) and Drew McClelland (Holly); and her great grandchild Eli.

Donations in her memory can be made to the Nova Scotia Nature Trust.
