She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence and Louise; her husband Edward Stanley Deveau; her granddaughter Ashley Deveau; and her siblings, Martin Harrington (Cecilia), Norman Harrington, Amos Harrington and Bernadette Gillieo (Kenneth).
She is survived by: her children, Stanley "Stan" Deveau of Yarmouth, Frank Deveau (Karen) of Yarmouth, Marvin Deveau of Yarmouth, Jacqueline Harrington, Dolores Deveau-Fevens (Duane), Belinda Désilets (Raymond) and Sheila Deveau; her stepson Joseph Robicheau; and her brother Frank Harrington (Darlene). She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Calvary Catholic Cemetery (133 Forest St, Yarmouth, NS B5A4K9).
Donations in memory of Ada may be made to the Poppy Fund of the Royal Canadian Legion, Yarmouth, The Wounded Warriors of Canada or the Tri-County VON.
