She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Smith and Thelma Smith (Hagen); her children, Terry and Randy; her siblings, George, David, Tim, Esther and Louise; and her granddaughter Megan.

She is survived by: her children, Tammy Rodgerson (Paul d'Entremont), Brian Rodgerson (Tina), Blaine Rodgerson (Michelle) and Kenny Rodgerson (Karen); her grandchildren, Alexandra, Ryan, Terra, Cory, Randy, Melissa, Lori-Anne, Mitchell, Natasha, Heidi, Eric and Jamie; her stepgrandchildren, Mickayla and Cassidy; and her daughters-in-law, Sue and Shirley. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sweeny's Funeral Home (567 Main St, Yarmouth, NS B5A1J6). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the IWK.

“My deepest sympathies to the family. I’ve only know Adra for about 9 months since moving into the same apartment building but I felt an immediate connection from the first day we met. She had an infectious energy and smile and I had often told her she was a “firecracker “, in the best ways possible. She was strong willed and known for being stubborn but also gentle and caring and an incredible sense of humour. I will miss her friendship and I know her presence will be missed by so many.”
