He is survived by: his wife Kathy Porter (Trask); his children, Tanya Bain (Jordan), Amy Connors (Warren), Cody Porter (Jenny) and Jordan Porter (Sarah); his stepchildren, Silas Trask (Robin Parker) and Katy Stone; his siblings, Brian Porter, Greg Porter and Joan Porter; his grandchildren, Karter, Brianna, Jayden and Benjamin; and his stepgranddaughters, Lily and Sage.
