He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernie McIntosh and Jesse McIntosh; his wife Carmel; his son-in-law Paul Dion; his grandson Sebastian Edwards; and his siblings, Stephen and Judy.

He is survived by : his brother John; his children, Linda (late Paul Dion), Ken (Liz Iwasko) and Laurie (Alan Edwards); his grandchildren, Maxine, Tiffany, Kyle, Stephen and Erin; and his great grandchildren, Sophia, Oliver, Kaleb and Alexis.

A funeral mass was held on Tuesday, September 12th 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Ambrose Co-Cathedral (43 Albert St, Yarmouth, NS B5A3N1).
