He was predeceased by: his mother Ruby Townsend; his siblings, Jamie, Barry and Teresa; and his grandson Tyson.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn (Ross); his children, Corey (Lori) and Lana (Roberta); his siblings, Doyle (Wanda), Brent, Anisley, Preston, Rob (Cindy), Amber, Crystal, Yolanda, Rhonda (Dave) and Polly (Mike); his grandsons, Jeremy and Nathan; his stepgrandchildren, Jacklynn and Holly; his great grandchildren, Lilly and Ella; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Rylynn, Jackson and Ethan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
