It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Elizabeth Smith in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 26, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George A. LeBlanc and Marjorie Hubbard-LeBlanc; her children, Michael Smith and Joan Trask; her former husband Alfred St-Clair Smith; and her close friends, George Muise and William "Ernie" Muise.
She is survived by: her children, Linda (Steve), Camilla Smith, Tanya Smith (Martin Maillet), Deanna Smith, Gary Smith, Terry Giorno and Dwayne Smith Elmsdale (Marsha Richards); and her siblings, Marie (late Ted) and B. C.. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
