He is survived by: his children, Nicholas (Jamie) of Alberta and Alicia (Carlos) of Yarmouth; his grandchildren, Jessica Quinlan, Paige Malone, Emma Goreham and Hayden Malone; his siblings, Herbie (Claudette) of Oak Park, Holly (Perry) of West Pubnico, Gwen (Johney) of Stoney Island and Angela (Wayne) of Charlesville; his stepbrothers, James Atkinson (Louise) of Lower East Pubnico, Jeffery Atkinson (Tammy) of Woods Harbour and Douglas Atkinson (Nancy) of Goose Lake; and his half-siblings, Dwayne Malone of Woods Harbour and LeeAnn Malone of Charlesville.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the H. M. Huskilson's Funeral Home (Barrington, NS). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the H. M. Huskilson's Memorial Chapel (2821 Highway No. 3, Barrington, NS).
