She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mallet and Madeline Mallet (Muise); her husband Stanley Cottreau; and her children, Nancy Dow (Peter) and Randy Cottreau.

She is survived by: her children, John "Jack" Cottreau (Charlene), Shirley Nickerson (John) and Rockville; her siblings, Martha Copeland, George Mallet, Bedford and Shirley Welsh; her grandchildren, Tom, Jeff Sweeny, Derek, Christopher Dow, Jenifer and David Cottreau; and her siblings, Everett Mallet, John "Bud" Mallet, Mary Doucet, Muriel Hamty, Margaret Jackson and Barbara Mallet. She is also survived by six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
