She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Jr. Atwood and Eileen Atwood (Penney); her grandson Devon Smith; and her brother Rodney Atwood. She is survived by: her cousins, Andrea and Leroy; her husband Sanford Atwood; her children, Terry Smith (Joey) and Craig Atwood (Denise); her grandchildren, Tyson Smith (Abby) and Kandiace Smith (Matthew); her great grandchildren, Kenadie, Devyn Smith, Bentley Merryweather, Hayden and Jonah Dowell; and her brother Gordon Atwood (Rose). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the H. M. Huskilson's Funeral Home (2821 Nova Scotia Trunk 3, Barrington, NS B0W1E0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the H. M. Huskilson's Memorial Chapel (Barrington, NS).
