Betty Ann Mae Doucet Obituary

We bid farewell to Betty Ann Mae Doucet (Yarmouth, Nova Scotia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 1, 2025 at the age of 91. Betty Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Hayes and Ruth Hayes (Harding); her husband John Doucet; her daughter Elaine Fox; and her brothers, Alton and Arthur.

She is survived by: her children, Arlene MacNeil, Catherine Muise, Debbie Dulong, Laura Lee Hipson (Marlowe), George Doucet (Jacqueline) and John Doucet (Linda Titus); and her son-in-law Rick Fox. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium (567 Main St, Yarmouth, NS B5A1J6).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Chebogue Cemetery.
