With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Austin Nickerson (Yarmouth, Nova Scotia), born in Liverpool, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 3, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Redvers Nickerson and Ivy Nickerson (Hawes); his son Scott D. Nickerson; his sisters, Gladys Nickerson (Fisher) and Thelma; and his former wife Mary Nickerson (Lennox).
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl L. Coffey (Dennis) of Danvers, MA, Stephen W. Nickerson (Laurie) of Nottingham, NH, Susan D'Allessandro (John) of Plymouth, MA and Christopher A. Nickerson (Jennifer) of Marblehead, MA.; and his siblings, Eva Jenkins of Dartmouth, N. S., Dorothy Thomas of Glasgow, N. S. and Robert Nickerson (Vivian) of Oromocto, N. B.. He is also survived by grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and many great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in Carl's name can be made to the Alzheimer Association or a charity of choice.
