He was predeceased by: his parents, Antoine Bourque and Anna Bourque (Muise); his in-laws, Edmund and Juliette LeBlanc (Bourque); his foster sister Peggy Meuse; his siblings-in-law, Virginia d'Entremont, Mary Anne Trickett and Paul d'Entremont; and his nephews, Damon Paul d'Entremont and Michel Bourque.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna Bourque (LeBlanc); his stepchildren, Nanette (Glenn Bourque), Monissa (Evan Amirault) and Lenora (Scott Surette); his grandchildren, Alain (Nicole), Jacob (Megan), Suzanne (Jordan), Emily (Adrian), Miguel and Vincent; and his siblings, Lucille (Keith), Roland (Evelyn), Armand (Prescille) and Happy (Alice).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Anne's Catholic Church (7309 Lighthouse Rte, Ste. Anne du Ruisseau, NS B0W2X0). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Holy Family Cemetery fund.
