He was predeceased by: his father Ross Andrew Sampson; his wife Marianne Burbine "Toogie"; his son Bobby Benham; his brothers, John, Ross and Thomas Sampson (Myrna); and his daughter-in-law Melanie Benham.
He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Henrietta Butler; his sons, Howard Benham (April) and Ed Benham; his grandchildren, Stephanie Benham, Christopher Benham (Alison), Stephen Benham (Melissa), Nick Killiam, Sara Benham, Andrew Benham and Brittany Benham; his great grandchild Tehya; his siblings' children, Elizabeth Cheeseman (Randy) and Lillie-Mae Brady; and his sisters, Donna (Cyril), Carol and June.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Huskilson's Funeral Chapel (58 Bulkley St, Shelburne, NS B0T1W0).
