He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Parnell and Henrietta Parnell (Doane). He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Parnell (Moody); his daughter Shawnda; his grandson Duncan Parnell-Shaw; his daughter Carmen Redding (Alan) of Cranbrook, B. C.; his grandsons, Alex Mood (Christine), Andy Redding (Christie) and Adam Redding; his brother Neil Parnell (Kim); and his sister-in-law Donna Parnell (late Walter Parnell).
