She was predeceased by: her parents, Aldric Richard and Melina Richard (Gallant); her son Alan Thibeau (Anna); her son-in-law Robert (Deborah); her great grandchild Samuel Muise; and her siblings, Sylvie, Lloyd, Gertie, Joe, Irving, Russell, Peter, Brenda and Lorne.

She is survived by: her husband Frank Thibeau; her children, Deborah (Garry), Todd, Michele (Martin) and Monique (Bruce); her grandchildren, Jenna (Kevin), Jillian (Shawn), Whitney (Lawrence), Andrew, Jessica (Tyler), Matthew, Lucas, Brendan, Mariah, Seamus, Kieran, Declan, Chelsea and Ashley; and her great grandchildren, Clancy, Rosa, Luke, Lily, Joshua, Sadie, Tucker, Evelyn, Vera, Georgia, Audrey and August.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Huskilson's Funeral Home (29 Albert St, Yarmouth, NS B5A3N1). A prayer was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Co-Cathedral (65 Green St, Yarmouth, NS B5A1Z6).

Donations in Doris' memory can be made to St. Ambrose Cathedral or to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
