He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Babin (Amirault) and Antoine Babin; his stepmother Marjorie Babin; his siblings, Roderick, Alice Surette and Donna Babin; his brothers-in-law, Louis, Entremont and Delbert Muise; and his close friend Zane Leblanc.

He is survived by: his wife Marcella Rose (Bourque); his daughter Erica Babin-Dillman (Chris); his siblings, Ray Babin, Ella Muise, Bertha Brannen (Jamie), Walter Babin (Gloria), Marilyn and Entremont; his sister-in-law Betty Babin; his grandchildren, Isabelle and Benjamin Dillman; and his former wife Paulette Babin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
