He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustin Deveau and Evelyn Deveau (Muise); and his siblings, Wallace, Donald, Leo, Melford, Louise, Eva and Norma.

He is survived by: his significant other Melinda Deveau; his children, Shari Surette (Graham), Denise Harnish (Paul) and Kirk; his stepchildren, Charlene Greenland (Don) and Reggie Hatfield (Gina); his great grandchild Ava; and his siblings, Gilbert, Ernest (Joyce), Doris Deveau (Brian), Ida Deveau and Della Wright (Wayne). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other grandchildren.
