With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Bourque (Yarmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 20, 2026 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Emma Bourque to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Muise and Rose-Aimée Muise; her siblings, Clifford, Julien, Elien, Steve, Toussaint, Frederick, Charlie Muise, Jeanette Surette and Florence Saulnier; and her husband Simon Richard Bourque.
She is survived by: her children, Richard "Dick" (Doreen), Timothy (Pamela), Monte (Natalie), Matthew (Denine), Kaitlyn (Will) and Nicholas (Meghan). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Huskilson's Funeral Chapel (29 Albert St, Yarmouth, NS B5A3N1). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
