She was predeceased by: her husband George Almond Watkins; her parents, Laura Thompson and Howard Thompson; and her siblings, Edna Durkee and Sonny Thompson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jane Deveau (Frank) and Allan Ray Thompson; her sister-in-law Anna Thompson; her daughters, Marsha Watkins, Barbara Parker and Beverly Gobien (Olaf); and her grandchildren, Dana (Jennifer), Laura (Jamie), Steven, Nikea, Angela (Johnnie), Andrew, Kay (Joe), Ian, Daniel and Maggie Amber (Jay). She is also survived by several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
