She was predeceased by: her husband Edmond Harris; her parents, William Gordon and Eunice Gordon; and her siblings, Marjorie, Katherine, Rosalie, Willard, Henry, Victor, Albert, Georgie and Billy.

She is survived by: her children, Sheila Muise (Brian), Nancy Cogan (Dave) and Gregory Harris (Angela); and her grandchildren, Crystal Allen, Tiffany Stockman (Dan), Tyler Harris, Luke Cogan (Lindsay), Ryan Cogan, Jack Leask, Molly Leask, Claire Leak, Ayla Stockman and Andrew Stockman.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Huskilson's Funeral Home (29 Albert St, Yarmouth, NS B5A3N1). A prayer was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Co-Cathedral (43 Albert St, Yarmouth, NS B5A3N1).
