He was predeceased by: his parents, Actime Surette and Anita Surette (Bourque); his wife Annie Surette (Landry); and his siblings, Louis Surette, Rose Emma Sowyrda, Lena Robichaud, Regina Bourque, Irene Surette, Frances Surette, Evelyn Comeau, Thérèse Surette and Marion Surette.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley Surette, Sluice Point, Louise Atkinson (James), Middle East Pubnico and Brian Surette (Annette); his grandchildren, Steven (Nikki), Melissa (Hannah), Jennifer, Laura and David (Emilie); and his great grandchildren, Dawson, Rory and Owen.
