She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Purdy and Ethel Purdy (Hunt); her husband Dexter Doucette; her siblings, Stanley, Leslie, Mildon, Vertilee Purdy, Ethel Macomber (Honey) and Phyllis Single; and her nephew Leigh Purdy.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Surette (Tony) of Yarmouth, Susan Landry (Craig) of Yarmouth and Sandra McBride of Yarmouth; her grandchildren, Ashlee Clairmont (Jason), Jared Surette and Merissa Wiser; her great grandchildren, Chloe, Mila and Blair; and her stepchildren, Mark Doucette (Boston), Kelly Doucette Croke (Boston), Dean Doucette (Boston) and Matthew Comeau (New Brunswick). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
