He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Gidney and Martha Gidney (Sweeney). He is survived by: his girlfriend Sue Theriault; his stepdaughter Janine Theriault (John Southworth); his granddaughter Rita Southworth; his siblings, Louise Gavel, Donna Beatty (Bob) and Doug Gidney (Sandy) of Weymouth; and his son-in-law John Southworth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
