George Collings Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Collings (Yarmouth, Nova Scotia), born in Saulnierville, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 22, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Collings and Delphine Collings (Muise); his wife Mary (Ashford); his sister Eleanore "Girlie" Collings; his son-in-law Larry Hatfield; his grandson David Hatfield; and his great grandchild Hayden Goodwin.

He is survived by: his sister Lorette Marr (Lucky); his children, Dave (Anne) and Delores "Dodi" Hatfield; his grandchildren, Amie Hatfield (Andy), Travis and Ashley Collings (Nathan); his great grandchildren, Graham, Madelyn Goodwin, Hailey and Ashton Collings; and his close friend Yvonne Saulnier.

Due to Covid-19 pandemic, a public funeral service will be held at a later date.
