It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Leonard Hanf (Yarmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 20, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Vernon Hanf and Irma Hanf (White); his brother Milton Hanf; his brothers-in-law, Eldridge Melanson, Neil Nicholl and Ernest LeBlanc; his niece Karen Nicholl; his sister-in-law Darlene Jacquard; and his father-in-law Remi LeBlanc.

He is survived by : his wife Patsy; his children, Michael Hanf (Tara), Melissa Ritchie (Terry) and Elizabeth Dawn Clairmont (Jason); his siblings, Charles Hanf (Lori), Verna Melanson and Leona Nicholl; his sister-in-law Lorri Hanf; and his grandchildren, Baden, Caleb, Erica, Adrien, Ainsley, Braelee and Ayla. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
